I had my students make worm pencils on the first day of class. I was an art teacher and it was important to always have your pencil for art class!

This back to school craft is simple, quick, and a fun activity.

Materials

• green pipe-cleaners
• googly eyes
• school glue
• pencil

Directions

1. Twirl pipe-cleaner around the pencil.
2. Double back the pipe-cleaner over the head of the worm.
3. Adhere googly eyes
4. Voila…bookworm pencil!
