When I taught high school, I remember how my student came to their morning class half awake. They could hardly get out of bed much less eat breakfast. I allowed them to eat in my classroom as long as it was something, somewhat nutritious i.e. fruit. At least then they were getting a little brain power from food.
Everyone knows breakfast is the most important meal of the day. So why not get your kids excited about going back to school with these breakfast ideas?

What a great way to start the day and to welcome new students and their families! I will definitely do this! They have cute little waffle stick makers at Kohl’s and it only takes a jiffy to make them! Adding the fruit toppings is nutritious and can lead to conversations about color, eating the rainbow, etc.!
