My little buckaroo has been very busy this Christmas year. He likes singing these songs from our Gingerbread Activity post. He made a Christmas Wreath for our front door, and this week he created a Christmas tree counting game from popsicle sticks.
- Large popsicle stick
- green paint
- wide paint brush
- container for painting
- paper
- printer
- nickel
- pencil
- crayons
- glue
- Paint sticks in a container. I used a metal roasting pan from the dollar store. {image below} and set sticks aside to dry.
- Print out numbers on your printer.
- With a pencil, use a nickel to draw a circle around the numbers.
- Color them with crayons.
- Cut out circled numbers.
- Glue circled numbers to popsicle sticks.
Use a foil pan to contain the chaos!
