My five year old has autism, and one of his major areas of struggle is fine motor. Currently, he is working on drawing vertical lines with his ABA team, and I dreamed up this printable to help him. Plus, this sheet reinforces important life skills by using traffic lights and stop signs!
This freebie fine motor printable is also great for preschoolers and kindergarteners who need practice targeting and drawing perfectly straight lines. Which as a former first and second grade teacher, I know, is necessary for a great deal of practice makes perfect.
Want to save on paper? Laminate this or slip it into a plastic binder sheet. Use dry erase markers, wipe, and repeat. There’s something about dry erase markers that primary kids {and okay, their teachers as well} adore.
You can download this freebie at our google docs.
You’re welcome.
Need more ideas to work on fine motor? This occupational therapy post is loaded with tons of fun sensory ideas. All kids benefit from sensory play, even my neurotypical 3 year old often demands to join in on my older son’s therapy.
We also have pages above dedicated to fine motor skills for the younger grade, and special needs.
