Happy Almost Summer everyone! In hopes of you getting to know us better, every Friday we are linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for the Five for Friday. Plus, we love mingling with all those other teaching bloggers each weekend!
1.) I’m a huge fan of the band The Shins. James Mercer is a genius. This video is hauntingly beautiful. I can’t stop listening to this song. Hope you enjoy it.
2.) This week, I’ve been crafting quite a bit. I’m sure many of you love to craft, (especially now that school’s out and you have time). Here’s two fun and easy crafts from my other site momnivore’s dilemma. First, have your seen those cool vintage flower rings and earrings at etsy? Cabochons are so cheap and easy to make!
3.) And of course, freezer paper stencils…every teacher should know how to make these! Imagine having a superreader each week wearing a cape in the class.
4.) On the TPT front, I’ve relearned photoshop {and soon I’m tackling Illustrator}. I was in advertising/graphic design before I was a teacher, many moons ago. We are talking pre-iPods here, people. So, here’s the first of many inexpensive paper packs we will be offering. $1. 15 papers. You can’t beat that.
5.) My youngest son is done with school, and my oldest has three more days. I can’t wait to be done…
Happy End of School,
Nicolette
