Need a fun end of the year writing activity that will have your students engaged and bursting with ideas? I’ve used this writing prompt over the years with kids as young as 1st grade, and even with my junior high ELA students! Every kid has a opinion or two to share about “How They Would Rule the School”.
I recall one second grader who took this activity to the next level. He went home that night, drew up blueprints of his dream school, and even presented the plan to our principal! I hope your students enjoy this end of the year activity as much as my classes have.
