Back to School Home Organization Tips & Ideas for Parents

Back to school is like January 1.  A fresh start.

Ask any teacher: your organized students are often your brightest students.  Where are those skills learned?

Home.

But with backpacks, the paper trail, bills, lunches, carpools, missing shoes and socks- mornings can be downright evil.  Homework? Chores? Bedtimes? Exhausting.

It’s enough to make any parent that isn’t Martha sweat.  Our very own Nicolette is a recovering clutterbug.  It can be done, dear readers, it can be done.

This round-up of ideas will not disappoint.

Be kind…

Fabulous list!! I wish I were half as organized (in my personal life) as any of these ladies ; ) I love the stair step baskets especially, I always have stuff sitting on my stairs!

Meet the Teachers

Meet the Teachers

Back when we were both teaching, we dreamed of a website that would make lesson planning easier. We both remember late nights scouring search engine for unit ideas. After searching 1000s of blogs and sites, nothing was exactly meeting our vision: creative resources for the overworked teacher or homeschooler! So…this was born.
