With about two months of winter still ahead, we here at The Classroom Creative have a challenge for all your classrooms and homeschools- try to read at least 100 books during your read-aloud time! To make it even more fun, we are offering a freebie that will help you create a “rookery of good reads!”. We recently learned during our penguin studies that a rookery is an enormous gathering of penguins, so what better way to display your winter reads than on the belly of a beloved Antarctic animal!
We made this freebie in two sizes, so you can adapt it for your space needs in your classrooms or homeschools. The smaller size worked best for me because my entire house looks like a school!
Download the winter reading challenge and free penguin book log.
As with all of our freebies, please note that this is a personal/classroom use resource. It may not be hosted on other web pages.
If you feature or pin this, please link to this page and NOT the pdf file. Thank you!
