Since Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead is November 2nd this year, the kids and I headed to the library to grab books about the significance of the day, to learn about its traditions, and the foods eaten by Latin countries. Then I created this fun free sugar skull craft printable template for the kids. The art teacher in me just can’t pass up the opportunity to create an interdisciplinary project with interesting shapes and lines paired with vibrant coloring!

Use markers, sequences, colored pencils, or glitter to decorate your masks! I hope your kids or students have as much fun decorating as we did!
