We are back again with another dollar store teacher hack! Math centers and games are a part of every classroom and homeschool. I loved these simple spinners for math games, but now that one of my sons is exploring subtraction and working with teen numbers, we needed to make the spinners more complex. Using white dot stickers also in the office section at my local dollar store, I made this for an upcoming lesson on teen numbers.
You could also “hack” these for literacy games: blends, digraphs, sight words, spelling words, or whatever standards you are covering. I like these spinners because they are still visually appealing and a little sturdier than the paperclip/pencil method many teachers use.
Hope this idea helps reinvigorate some of your math centers and games! Stay tuned for many more teacher hacks in the coming weeks and months ahead!
