With the end of the school year approaching, many students need the extra motivation to reach the finish line! Motivate your students and homeschoolers to read, read, read this spring with our Spring Reading Challenge!
Can you read 100 books this spring? If you have older students, use chapters as a motivator instead of books.
The first school I taught at here in Chicago had an amazing reading specialist, who still inspires me to this day. May Ms. G’s legacy live on in these challenges! She motivated thousands of students to read books of their own choosing for pleasure. Ms. G’s annual Race into Reading inspires these seasonal challenges, and I hope schools and homeschools across the world benefit!
We also have free reading challenges for fall, winter, and summer! Take a visit to those pages and pin them for later!
Our Spring Reading Challenge would make a fun bulletin board or door display. We’ve also included a book log so you can track your reading as well. This freebie is available in two sizes, so you can adapt it for your classroom’s needs.
Download the Spring Reading Challenge!
As with all of our freebies, please note that this is a personal/classroom use resource only.
It may not be hosted on other web pages. If you feature or pin this, please link to this page and NOT the pdf file.
Thank you!
p.s. if you teach new readers, get started with our printable
Spring Emergent Reader Mega Bundle.
There are 6 books in color and black and white.
Teachers and homeschoolers around the world LOVE them!
