Free Printable Eraser Valentines

valentines day free printable eraser idea for kids

My son’s teacher requested that we send blank valentines that do not have a to: section.  I agree, sorting out all those valentines with twenty 4 year olds sounds like a headache in the making.  My mom scored some erasers on clearance last year and just dropped them off over the weekend.  So, a fun […]

Free Valentine’s Day Making Words Activity

valentine's day making words activity free literacy center

Making words is a perfect literacy activity that allows for differentiation of instruction.  Longer words challenge students who need the challenge, while students who need a slower pace and more hands-on instruction also benefit from making words activities.  Making words, in my experience, is one of the few literacy activities that is truly multi-leveled without […]

Valentine’s Day Fine Motor Lacing & Tying Activity

My son wants to wear shoes that lace, but he doesn’t know how to tie them. I guess it is time to teach him how to tie! Considering the time of year, I designed this Valentine’s Day criss-cross lacing and tying activity. Fine motor is an area that most kids need a great deal of […]

Meet the Teachers

Meet the Teachers

Back when we were both teaching, we dreamed of a website that would make lesson planning easier. We both remember late nights scouring search engine for unit ideas. After searching 1000s of blogs and sites, nothing was exactly meeting our vision: creative resources for the overworked teacher or homeschooler! So…this was born.
